July 17 — 24
Sunday Services 20 July
Join us at our 9am, 11am or 6pm service as we spend time worshipping God with singing, open the bible together, and share a time of connection with others in our RCC whānau.
This week we conclude our 'City' teaching series looking at the implications of our vision: To see our city become a place of Christ's transforming hope for the world.' Greig Whittaker is sharing in all our services from John 17 with a call for churches to get in shape to walk alongside their city. Greig is part of City to City and has a long history of working with churches to impact their city. We're looking forward to hearing what he has prepared to share with us.
We'll be thrilled to welcome you!
Our 11am service will be livestreamed starting at the talk on:
Riccarton Community Church - YouTube
Riccarton Community Church - Facebook
The Mark Drama
We're excited to be involved in producing The Mark Drama - a fast-paced performance on the revolutionary life of Jesus. The cast features some of our Young Adults. This is a fresh way to experience the gospel of Mark and is designed to be an event to invite others to. Consider inviting along the people who you are praying for to come to know Jesus.
Shows are:
Sat 26 July 7pm Rutland St Church, 12 Rutland St
Sun 27 July 6pm Riccarton Community Church (this is our 6pm service)
Mon 28 July 7pm Ngaio Marsh Theatre, USCA, 90 Ilam Rd
Winter Warmers Sat 26 July
Our next RCC Women's event is on Sat 26 July at 7pm. Join us for "Winter Warmers" - an evening of connection, cooking demonstrations and tasters. You're welcome to bring your favourite recipe and we'll compile and share them. This is a great event to invite a friend to come along with you too.
Cost: Gold coin on the day.
Register by Mon 21 July - email the office to register.
Peverel Flats Open for 2026
The Peverel Flats, one of our RCC partners, exist to create a supportive and safe environment where young adults who have just moved away from home can explore their faith. They aim to aid with integration into a new church community and are on hand to help with the practical and pastoral challenges that come with living in a flatting environment for the first time.
Feel free to pass this info on to any first-year students for 2026.
